In Prison Studies, the author Malcolm X tells his ownstory of studies in prison, He believes that his brilliantimpression is due entirely to his prison studies.He start his true learning career because he admiredBimbi’s talent in prison . Initially ,he could not evenreading and writing some easy words ,so he read a bookjust for show until he received the motivation that he did.He began to see that the best thing he could do was gethold of a dictionary to expand his vocabulary. It wasinevitable as his word-base broadened, he began tounderstand what the book he picked up was saying.When he could make sense of a book, he found that anew world was open to him, so he loved reading andeven couldn’t have gotten out of books with a wedge,he read books in any time he could. He thought he neverhad been so truly free in his life when he was reading.In prison ,he realized that reading had changed foreverthe course of his life. Today, his ability to read awokeinside him long dormant craving to be mentally alive. Hehad a strong desire that the black could gain entirelyfreedom like the white.After reading this essay, I believe that if someone wantto become outstanding he can learn in any place and inany time .as the proverb goes “ nothing is difficult for awilling mind, if you want ,you could conquer all theobstacles until achieve your goals”.
